Green is the New Botox

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am and I am convinced the secret ingredients to natural anti ageing are green juice and sun salutes. I often get mistaken for being younger than my age and nothing energizesmy body more than a green juice or smoothie in the morning, after a workout or as a quick, 'pick me up' snack.  It’s an easy way to have breakfast or a healthy nosh on the go and can be infused with good for you add ins like protein, chlorophyll, and maca root powder which on their own can be tricky to savour. Having a generous dose of fiber rich greens first thing helps cleanse the digestive system, alkalize the body and fuel our organs with plant powered energy. Here is my latest favourite recipe. ·      Half an Avocado

·      1 Cup of Water

·      Half a Cucumber Chopped

·      1 Cup Chopped Pineapple

·      1 Celery Stalk

·      ½ Green Apple

·      Juice from 1 Lemon

·      2 Fist fulls of Spinach and or Kale


Place all ingredients in blender in the order above, blend, pour, enjoy! Makes about 3 servings. Left overs can be kept in an air tight Jar or container for up to 3 days.
