Nama-Stay in Bed
Oh how I love when CityLine and Tracy Moore invite me play! I love taking yoga off the mat and teaching how to incorporate simple, effective and energizing yoga stretches into our busy, laundry list style lives.
This morning I showed Tracy and the CityLine audience 4 quick yoga postures we can all do in the morning before we even get out of bed! Let's be honest, it's cold outside (cue today's snow storm), we are in hibernation mode (cue snooze button on repeat) and we're busy (cue the laundry list of resolutions) but don't worry, I've got you covered. It's easy to let self care drop to the bottom of the pile but the truth is a Namaste a day keeps the Nama-cray away! All you need to remember is a twist, a fold, a side bend and a stretch to fire up digestion (hello natural detox), tone abdominal muscles from the inside out (hellooooo summer body), reduce stress (aaaahhhhh), have a little quality me time (double aaahhhhhh), lengthen the body (Is that Heidi Klum?), and inspire an overall feeling of happiness and well-being (wooosssaaahhh).
