Birthday Cake Bites

It’s my birthday and I’ll eat cake if I want to!! I was looking to order a cake for my birthday party this weekend and I was going through all the things: ok gluten-free, non dairy, not too much sugar and then I had an AHA moment! Why don’t I make little birthday bites that won’t blow all the feel good healthy living vibes to the curb?!! Don’t get me wrong I love a good celebration and I’m all about cake. I just had a crazy two weeks and I feel better when I’m being clean. In the end, it’s all a balance and that balance is a dance that feels different for everyone. So here they are my Birthday Cake Bites with a little sweet spin.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Ground Oats (GF)

  • 1/3 cup of Natural Almond Butter

  • 2 tbs of Coconut Oil (melted)

  • 2 Scoops Arbonne Essentials Marble Cake Vegan Protein Powder (You can substitute with one scoop vanilla & one scoop chocolate)

  • 1 TBS Ground Flax

  • 2 tbs of Natural Maple Syrup or Organic Honey

  • 1/2 cup Confetti Sprinkles for rolling

*Add a bit of water if need be to get the right consistency to roll

Method

  • Mix all ingredients together in food processor

  • Spoon out portions and roll into balls

  • Roll in confetti sprinkles

  • Serve on your fanciest cake platter

  • Store in the refrigerator in an air tight container
